James Lewis Dennison Jr., a son of James Lewis and Nancy (Anderson) Dennison, was born in 1778. He married Sarah Greathouse on January 21, 1808 in Harrison County VA. Sarah, a daughter of Gabriel and Nancy (Hustead) Greathouse, was born in 1789 in Monongalia County VA.

LEWIS DENNISON
Gabriel Greathouse Dennison, a son of James Lewis Jr. and Sarah (Greathouse) Dennison, was born in Harrison County VA (WV) August 6, 1811 and died in Braxton County WV December 5, 1899. He married Martha P. Stout in Harrison County March 24, 1836. Martha, a daughter of Nathan D. Stout, was born in 1816 and died in Braxton County February 17, 1855.
Gabriel married Margaret A. Berry December 12, 1857. Margaret, a daughter of Fielding and Elizabeth (McPherson) Berry, was born in Lewis County VA (WV) December 18, 1818.
